Jane worked in various administrative roles, before commencing her employment at ServiceMaster Newbury.

Career to date with ServiceMaster Clean

Jane joined ServiceMaster in September 1999, and since this time has developed a wealth of knowledge and experience. Jane started her career with ServiceMaster as an Office Administrator in the Residential Department, initially handling claims on behalf of homeowners and insurance companies. Jane’s thoroughness and accuracy in following procedures led naturally to her progression into the role of Quality Assurance Co-ordinator. As the Quality Assurance Co-ordinator, her role was to ensure all service provision was fit for purpose, legally compliant and that it met customer’s expectations. Following the success of this role, both in delivering a consistently high quality service and ensuring proactive problem resolution, Jane was promoted to Quality Assurance Manager in June 2013.

Jane’s key responsibilities

Jane oversees the ISOQAR ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 accreditations and Quality and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring all Accreditations and Procedures are up to date and followed by all personnel in the company.

Jane operates within the Quality Assurance Management Programme (QAMP) and oversees the implementation of the programme across the communal, commercial and residential departments. Data is collated, monitored, and trends and issues analysed, addressed and internal procedures are reviewed in line with findings.

Main objectives in my job role (personal thoughts)

The main objective of my job role is to ensure that we offer ‘Service excellence’ to all our customers. Service excellence is achieved through the delivery of a consistently high level of service by fully trained personnel working in a safe environment. We commit to striving to maintain our procedures and monitor quality and the environment, thereby continually improving both our services and our customer’s experience.

Future Plans

I thoroughly enjoy working at ServiceMaster, as we work together to deliver an excellent service. I hope to continue to develop my role through deepening my understanding of the impact of legislation on environmental and employment procedures.
